Volleyball Recap: LeRoy Gets the Win

St. Thomas More typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday LeRoy proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Sabers 2-1. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day LeRoy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 16-14.

LeRoy pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. Thomas More, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-11.

LeRoy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mt. Pulaski on the 18th. As for St. Thomas More, they will square off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
