Baseball Game Preview: Bowie Bulldogs vs. Dripping Springs Tigers

The Bowie Bulldogs will square off against the Dripping Springs Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Bowie nor Dripping Springs posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

While Bowie's victory against Del Valle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Bowie never let Del Valle get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Dripping Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Austin by a score of 3-2.

Bowie now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Dripping Springs, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

Bowie skirted past Dripping Springs 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Bowie repeat their success, or does Dripping Springs has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
