Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Antonio Christian). They came out on top against the St. Joseph Flyers by a score of 19-14 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Noah Grant was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with five RBI and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Amerman, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

San Antonio Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .596. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

San Antonio Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 29-7.

Looking ahead, San Antonio Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against San Antonio HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a three-game losing streak. St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
