Baseball Recap: Burroughs Has No Trouble Against Foothill

Burroughs won the last time they faced Foothill and things went their way on Monday too. The Burroughs Burros blew past the Foothill Trojans 9-0. The Burros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kanon Schiller, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dennis Cane, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Burroughs' record is now 7-1. As for Foothill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burroughs will face off against Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foothill, they will take on Chavez at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
