Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geraldine). They never let the Hokes Bluff Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Saturday. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Geraldine's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hokes Bluff, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geraldine will challenge Sylvania at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geraldine will be up against Sylvania's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hokes Bluff, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Oneonta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
