Volleyball Recap: Peekskill Comes Up Short

Peekskill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Yorktown Huskers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-6.

Khylee Capozzelli paced Peekskill's offense, picking up three kills. Capozzelli got some help from Nina Ijiogbe and her eight assists.

Peekskill's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Yorktown, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Peekskill has already played their next game (against Walter Panas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Yorktown, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on October 3.
