Football Recap: Mount Michael Benedictine Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Wahoo

Mount Michael Benedictine faced Wahoo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights took a blow against the Warriors, falling 62-21. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

When it comes to explaining why Mount Michael Benedictine lost, don't look at Jedd Ramold. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores. Ramold showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Brady Quinlivan, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Kip Brigham had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 270 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 104 receiving yards and one TD for Wahoo. Brigham's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season. Jase Kaminski was another major influence, as he rushed for five yards and ran in a TD.

Mount Michael Benedictine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Wahoo, their record now sits at 6-0.
