Football Recap: Brevard Makes It 12 in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Brevard had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Burns Bulldogs 30-27. The 30-point effort marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

A big part of Brevard's win came down to the chemistry between Chrstian Conley and his top target Tristan Thompson-Wynn. Conley threw for 125 yards and one touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes while Thompson-Wynn picked up 59 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Brevard, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Thompson-Wynn, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Brevard pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.4 points on average this season. As for Burns, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Brevard has already played their next contest, a 49-28 victory against Pisgah on the 28th. Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
