Basketball Game Preview: Philo Electrics vs. Morgan Raiders

The Philo Electrics will head out on the road to challenge the Morgan Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Philo is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against John Glenn on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Philo was beaten by John Glenn 65-32. The Electrics were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.

Meanwhile, Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 65-26 defeat at the hands of Tri-Valley. The Raiders were down 49-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Philo will have to contain Cole McGill as he made an impact in Morgan's last game. He almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Philo, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
