Soccer Game Preview: Shelby County vs. Sipsey Valley

The Shelby County Wildcats will take on the Sipsey Valley Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Shelby County fell victim to Montevallo and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to Indian Springs.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Shelby County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Shelby County took their win against Sipsey Valley in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 11-0. Does Shelby County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sipsey Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
