Football Recap: University Prep Comes Up Short

The University Prep Panthers lost 28-6 to the Lincoln-King Academy Eagles on Friday.

Lincoln-King Academy found their leader in sophomore Trey Coombs, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Those 118 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Coombs.

University Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Lincoln-King Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

As of now, neither University Prep nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
