Football Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood fell victim to Jensen Beach and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Falcons, falling 27-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Jensen Beach got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Paige Bressman out in front who threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.4% of her passes. Bressman has become a key player for the Falcons: the team is undefeated when she posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-5 otherwise.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Jensen Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Westwood nor Jensen Beach have any future games scheduled.
