Wyoming Area has gone a perfect 5-0 against MMI Preparatory School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. Wyoming Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Wyoming Area's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Old Forge 8-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Not much got past Alexa Gasek, who gave up just three hits to keep Old Forge off the board. Gasek has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Marissa Giardina was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Arianna Gaylord, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Wyoming Area hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

MMI Preparatory School played against Marian Catholic on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

MMI Preparatory School is on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13. As for Wyoming Area, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Everything went Wyoming Area's way against MMI Preparatory School in their previous meeting back in April, as Wyoming Area made off with a 17-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will MMI Preparatory School turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
