Basketball Game Preview: Piketon Redstreaks vs. Westfall Mustangs

The Piketon Redstreaks will venture away from home to take on the Westfall Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Piketon will be strutting in after a victory while Westfall will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, Piketon didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southeastern, but they still walked away with a 36-32 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redstreaks.

Meanwhile, Westfall was beaten by Unioto 89-27 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Shermans: they've now lost nine in a row.

Westfall's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11. As for Piketon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Piketon skirted past Westfall 40-37 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piketon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
