While Thompson Valley's win against Loveland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles slipped by the Red Wolves 10-9 on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 13, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Tristin Hill had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 160 yards.

Hill was just one part of a punishing run game: Thompson Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loveland only rushed for 118 rushing yards.

Thompson Valley's record now sits at 3-1. As for Loveland, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Thompson Valley will welcome Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Grizzlies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.75 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Loveland, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
