Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. Huron River Rats

Skyline is 0-10 against Huron since February of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Skyline Eagles will face off against the Huron River Rats at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Skyline saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They walked away with a 60-51 win over Pioneer. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Huron waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Dreadnaughts 72-38. The River Rats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Huron pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Skyline might still be hurting after the 79-54 defeat they got from Huron in their previous meeting on February 11th. Can Skyline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
