Volleyball Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss

If Northwood was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Martin County on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers came up short against the Farmville Central Jaguars on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Northwood ultimately came up short, they really made Farmville Central work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 26-24.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Farmville Central, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Northwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farmville Central, they will challenge Wake Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
