Basketball Recap: Jeremy Dietz and Jaylen Henry Secure Win for Conemaugh Valley

Conemaugh Valley won the last time they faced Ferndale and things went their way on Saturday too. The Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays strolled past the Ferndale Yellow Jackets with points to spare, taking the game 71-57.

Leading Conemaugh Valley to victory were Jaylen Henry and Jeremy Dietz. Henry went 7 of 12 on his way to 24 points and three steals, while Dietz posted 29 points and six rebounds. With that strong performance, Henry is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Korhut, who earned eight points along with 11 boards and three steals.

Conemaugh Valley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9. As for Ferndale, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-7.

Conemaugh Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-40 win against Purchase Line on the 3rd. As for Ferndale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-37 victory against Harmony Area on the 3rd.
