After a string of six wins, Glacier Peak's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bishop Blanchet Bears by a score of 2-1. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Glacier Peak actually scored more points across those three sets (61-60), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 15-13.

Emma Nowak paced Glacier Peak's offense, picking up 12 kills. Nowak were helped by Alyssa Box and Sydney Dilling, who contributed 12 assists each. Ashley Papson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Glacier Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-2. As for Bishop Blanchet, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Glacier Peak has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lake Stevens on the 22nd. As for Bishop Blanchet, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Seattle Prep on the 22nd.
