Pinckney has gone 9-1 against Adrian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Maples at 4:00 p.m. Pinckney's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Adrian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Pinckney is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bedford just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kicking Mules.

Mackenzie Burns was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Wroblewski, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Adrian never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Huron on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the River Rats. The Maples haven't had any issues with the River Rats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Pinckney, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Everything went Pinckney's way against Adrian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Pinckney made off with a 17-1 win. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maples turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
