Trinity Presbyterian waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Sapulpa Chieftains.

Copeland Service tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

On the hitting side, Brady Bennett was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Hall, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Trinity Presbyterian's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Sapulpa, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats duke it out with Putnam City North Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sapulpa, they will welcome Tushka at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
