Lynden Christian came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Squalicum Storm a 12-0 shutout. Surprisingly, this marked the Lyncs' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lynden Christian pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Squalicum, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynden Christian will take on Ferndale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
