The Red Lion Christian Academy Lions will challenge the Odessa Ducks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Odessa's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Red Lion Christian Academy hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Lions took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over Milford. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Lions just coasted through the last quarter.

Judah Barber was his usual excellent self, rushing for 185 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
Red Lion Christian Academy's run defense was locked in: Milford could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. While two picked up at least 14 total tackles, Cincere Warren stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles. Red Lion Christian Academy didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.4.
Red Lion Christian Academy's defense didn't let Rahlier Rankins, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. Jordon Jones was especially locked on to Milford's QB and sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, Odessa entered their tilt with Milford last Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They breezed past the Buccaneers to the tune of 44-6. With the Ducks ahead 30-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Odessa's win came from a few key players Red Lion Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cooper Curran, who threw for 205 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes. Odessa's leading receiver Zakie Williams was Curran's top target yet again, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Red Lion Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Odessa, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Everything came up roses for Red Lion Christian Academy against Odessa in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 56-14 win. In that game, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
