Soccer Game Preview: Morris vs. Ottawa

Morris gave up the first goal on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Morris who was credited with the victory. Morris got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to LaSalle-Peru's two. Morris hasn't had any issues with LaSalle-Peru recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ottawa had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Kaneland put an end to it on Monday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for Ottawa in their meetings with Kaneland: they've now lost eight in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ottawa fell to 3-1. As for Morris, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.
