The Arickaree Bison will face off against the North Park Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arickaree is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 36 points per game this season.

Arickaree played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They took their game with ease, bagging a 68-22 win over Genoa-Hugo. The victory continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Austin Wright had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 279 yards and three scores on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Wright was just one part of a punishing run game: Arickaree was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. The Bison are 4-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, North Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against Weldon Valley, falling 55-20.

Arickaree's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for North Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Arickaree against North Park when the teams last played back in September of 2023, as the squad secured a 40-0 victory. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
