Soccer Recap: Central Mountain Takes a Loss

Central Mountain fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hollidaysburg on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Tigers by a score of 2-1. Central Mountain have struggled against Hollidaysburg recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Central Mountain's goal came courtesy of Yayfran Sanchez, who's now up to three this season.

Central Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Hollidaysburg, they pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Central Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hollidaysburg, they will take on Tyrone at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
