Softball Recap: Alexandria Comes Up Short

Alexandria fell victim to Sartell-St. Stephen and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sabres, falling 7-0. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 13-9 to the Sabres when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alexandria has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Alexandria does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will challenge Moorhead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
