Volleyball Recap: McAdory Comes Up Short

McAdory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Helena Huskies. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

McAdory was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

McAdory's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Helena, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-12.

Looking ahead, McAdory will take on Sumiton Christian in a tournament on Saturday. As for Helena, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cornerstone on the 23rd.
