Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Heritage on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Centennial saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden O, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run. Another was Spencer Llewelyn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Heritage, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-21-1.

While Centennial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
