Logan Laverty was his usual excellent self, going 10-for-15 to rack up 28 points and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Ehrnstrom, who went 7-for-12 en route to 17 points.
Monarch was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Centaurus' strategy against Skyline on Tuesday. Centaurus took down Skyline 56-39.
Monarch better keep an eye on Sam Esposito. He was instrumental in Centaurus' win, going 8-for-13 on his way to 24 points. Esposito is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jt Falzone, who posted eight points and three steals.
Monarch is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
