Basketball Recap: Poinciana Takes a Loss

Poinciana came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Union Grove Wolverines and fell 68-32. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Poinciana fell to 2-1. As for Union Grove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poinciana will take on Bayside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Grove, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wolverines' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
