Cedar Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Western Alamance Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Fighting Red Wolves: when they faced off against the Warriors on April 8th, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Cedar Ridge's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Western Alamance, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
