Baseball Recap: Brookville Gets the Win

While Brookville's win against Tri-County North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 4-3. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers on Friday, too.

Brady Harrison looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brookville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Waggoner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Brookville's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Tri-County North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

Brookville and Tri-County North are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on Oakwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-County North, they will be playing at home against Lehman Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
