Football Recap: Bolton Academy Comes Up Short

Bolton Academy lost against East Beauregard back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears were dealt a 60-6 loss at the hands of the Trojans.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jarad De'Oliveira, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Bolton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Bolton Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Avoyelles at 7:00 p.m. As for East Beauregard, they will head out to face off against DeQuincy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
