Baseball Recap: Berlin Comes Up Short

Berlin lost against Kennett back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mountaineers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6.

Berlin dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kennett, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berlin will take on Inter-Lakes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mountaineers are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Kennett, they will head out on the road to square off against Bow at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
