Soccer Game Preview: Fredericksburg vs. Glenn

The Fredericksburg Billies will take on the Glenn Grizzlies in a tournament on Friday. Both are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Fredericksburg will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against John F. Kennedy on Thursday. Everything went Fredericksburg's way against John F. Kennedy as Fredericksburg made off with a 5-1 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Meanwhile, Glenn waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Texans an 8-0 shutout. That eight goal margin sets a new team best for the Grizzlies this season.

Glenn's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Fredericksburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Fredericksburg might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Glenn in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Fredericksburg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
