Baseball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln managed to slip by Monroe the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Railsplitters lost 9-0 to the Trojans on Monday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 13, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Lincoln got a good showing from Vince Miano, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave Miano a new career-low.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.

While Lincoln had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
