Baseball Recap: Tolono Unity Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Tolono Unity rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They skirted past the Normal University Pioneers 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted since April 13, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Cunningham, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Tolono Unity and bumps their season record up to 18-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Normal University, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-8.
