Basketball Game Preview: Mount Dora Hurricanes vs. P.K. Yonge Blue Wave

The Mount Dora Hurricanes will face off against the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Mount Dora ended up a good deal behind Cornerstone Charter Academy and lost 52-34.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Taejah Bosch, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Abner, who scored seven points.

Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge took a blow against West Port on Saturday, falling 69-32. While losing is never fun, the Blue Wave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 507th, while the Wolf Pack are ranked 57th).

P.K. Yonge's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Mount Dora, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
