Soccer Recap: Cornerstone Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against East Peoria last Thursday, Cornerstone Christian came back down to earth. The Cyclones came up short against the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints on Monday, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for Cornerstone Christian in their meetings with Bloomington Central Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.

Cornerstone Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5-1.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Christian will welcome Meridian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they will head out to square off against Normal West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
