Volleyball Recap: Suffern Comes Up Short

Suffern and Ketcham squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Suffern had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Storm. The Mounties were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Storm earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Suffern was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ketcham work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 29-27, 25-17.

Isabella Asuncion was nothing short of spectacular for Ketcham: she had 21 digs and two aces. What's more, Asuncion posted four assists, the most she's had over her last eight matchups.

Suffern's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ketcham, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Suffern nor Ketcham have any future games scheduled.
