Baseball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Winchester Red & Black, falling 7-1. The loss continues a trend for the Spy Ponders in their meetings with the Red & Black: they've now lost five in a row.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winchester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will welcome Belmont at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winchester, they will host Peabody Veterans Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
