Soccer Recap: Lugoff-Elgin Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River Bluff, Lugoff-Elgin was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Central Knights a 4-0 shutout. The score was close at the half, but the Demons pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit North Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eli Bills, Eli Branham, Michael Guillen, and Djou Djoe Eloi.

Lugoff-Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for North Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lugoff-Elgin will square off against West Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Central, they will take on Andrew Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
