Ohio high school football: Top teams, games, players and prospects ahead of 2020 season

Defending champions La Salle and Pickerington Central are 1-2 in Buckeye State.

The third week of the high school football season kicks off with 10 more states set to begin play starting Thursday. Among those states is Ohio, which plans to run an abbreviated regular season with the postseason scheduled to begin Oct. 8-9 with championship games scheduled for Nov. 21.

Ohio is one of 34 states planning to play football this fall. Sixteen others plus the District of Columbia have moved their respective seasons to 2021.

In Ohio, a total of 488 games are scheduled to kick off on Thursday through Saturday.
