After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bay, North Olmsted was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Westlake Demons 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

North Olmsted took Westlake into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Alyssa Byers paced North Olmsted's offense, picking up 19 kills. Byers got some help from Audrey Schneid and her 25 assists. Schneid also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelynn Schuezler, each putting up two.

North Olmsted's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Westlake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, North Olmsted will take on Rocky River at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Westlake, after both having extra time off, they and Cloverleaf will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
