There's no place like home for Southwick Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Holyoke Purple Knights on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Southwick Regional had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-16.

Nicolas Spina paced Southwick Regional's offense, picking up 23 kills. Spina got some help from Phong Tran and his 40 assists. River Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Southwick Regional is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Holyoke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Southwick Regional will head out to square off against Chicopee Comp at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Holyoke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
