With a playoff win on the line, Germantown rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Arrowhead. The result was nothing new for Germantown, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Germantown is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Arrowhead, they moved to 20-6 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Germantown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Hamilton on the 10th. Arrowhead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
