After a string of three wins, Model Secondary School for the Deaf's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 43-36 to the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 54-44 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will face off against Burke at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they will take on Greater Grace Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Grace Christian Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Maryland School for the Deaf surely won't give up without a fight.
