Jay had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Jefferson as they made off with a 3-0 win. Jay hasn't had any issues with Jefferson recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jay took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-10.

Coming up, Jay will square off against McCollum at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Corpus Christi Moody at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
