Basketball Recap: Bexley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bexley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 42-37 victory over the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs on Wednesday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 59-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bexley moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bloom-Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bexley Lions face off against the St. Charles Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bloom-Carroll will take on Liberty Union in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Union has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matchups.
